Our program is characterized by hands-on, inquiry-based learning that challenges each student to think and become a problem-solver. This is accomplished through both whole class and small group learning. All preschool learning activities help children build confidence as they learn to live, work, and play with others.

The curriculum is delivered through engaging Thematic Units like "Getting to Know You" and "The Farm," along with classroom learning centers. All instruction is guided by the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards

Families interested in the Sycamore Preschool Program must complete a lottery form. Student selection occurs in February and is based on program needs.

Families will be notified if their child is selected or placed on a waiting list. If selected, families will receive next-step instructions, including a tuition agreement, tuition deposit, and full registration requirements.

Children must be toilet-trained to attend the Sycamore Preschool Program.

No, any student in the lottery has equal chance of being selected.

No, if your student is selected from the lottery interest, you will be asked to complete registration which also includes medical documentation; immunization record; tuition agreement; and tuition deposit.

Yes, the lottery starts new every year, so if you previously filled out the Google interest form but were not selected, you will need to fill out the new form again when the window opens.
